eVGA X58 SLI3 or FTW3 B-stock?

I can get both for the same price. SLI3 brand new or the FTW3 B stock. Which one would you go with. 2 year warranty on SLI3 and 90 days for FTW3?

I am mainly concerned about the board dying. Seem's like a lost of posts are popping up on the eVGA with people complaining about their dead eVGA X58 board after a few years. I don't plan on doing any extreme overclocking very mild at best and I would like my hardware to last a very long time lol. My last eVGA X58 SLI board was great and is still working but I sold it. I could tell that it was either RMA or a B-stock board with the multiple labels on it and a replaced ferrite choke that was different color.

Get the FTW3, even though its a B-stock it shouldnt have problems, the whole EVGA X58 board dying was not as big as it was made out and a lot of it was most likely through the users stupidity. get the B-Stock FTW3 and stress test the hell out of it as soon as you get it. do something like Prime 95 custom test with as much ram as you can spare and a high work unit.

next test id through at it is up your Vcore to 1.35v, VTT to +150mv, and QPI Vcore to 1.3v then prime95 for a few hours. this will make sure the PWM is running nicely on the board.

Will those voltage settings damage my CPU? I went with the FTW3 and am running a W3565 in there right now.

If you're going to be upgrading as time goes on (Open and clsoing the case (de-assembling and re-assembling)) do not go with a B-Stock item. Go with a new MB that comes with a full warranty.

Do these boards not fare well against constant hardware changes because that is exactly what I do. I constantly sell and buy new hardware and swap things out to test and such. I already purchased the refurbished FTW3 and like it much better than my regular X58 SLI.
