No problems putting together, and i installed windows 7. Then when i installed the drivers for the graphics card the problems started !!
FIrstly once restarted, the screen went all washed out colours and really low reolsution-600x800-thought it might have been bad drivers so i redownloaded the latest drivers from nvidia-no result, tried the ones that came in the cd-still no difference.
however when i uninstall the drivers, the card is showing some image, but with a black border and the max resoltion is only 1280..via probably windwos 7 temporary drivers.
So i tried reinstalling windows..no difference...
I made sure the settings in the bios were correct..ie using PCI-e graphics not z68intergrated graphics.. still no difference
HOWEVER NOW..recently when i do all of that, the inital windows starting logo comes up and then my monitor loses signal completely ?!
Ive tried swtiching it to a different pcie slot and still no signal ?
Then i switched it back to intergrated graphics card..checked device manager and even though the card has the latest drivers installed properly, theres a yellow warning ! --saying Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) ?
The code doesnt really explain anything.
Now the only reason why im doubting the motherboard is because alot of the times when i switch the system on, it takes a very long time time to boot up, it freezes on this black screen with a dash in the corner and a number in the bottom corner
Unfortunatley I dont have another mobo or gpu to test it against. The company from which i got it said they will RMA it but if theres no fault they wwill charge for delivery and testing, so i want to make sure ive tried everything to test the card before i send. Also do you think it might be mobo ? ANy suggestions what it might. its seems like a dodgy gpu, but how often do you get faulty brand new graphics cards right ??
(btw its not the dvi-cable as i get full 1080 resoltion using the intergrated graphics card)
