$1600 on a gaming computer budget, judge my product choices

Hello, I am going to be purchasing parts for a new computer and I would like some second opinions on the parts i have chosen, and to make sure everything is going to be compatible. Originally, I only had a $1300 budget, but i have decided to up it another $300. This computer is for gaming, and here are the parts i have chosen thus far.

Case:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129087

HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148681

Monitor:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236079

Graphics:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130740

DVD Drive:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118031

Power Supply:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010

RAM:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345

Mobo:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131792

CPU:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

OS:Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit $99

A Total of about $1550, I think that this would be a great starting build for gaming, and that everything should be able to perform at higher end settings for at least a year, and then upgrades could be made accordingly. I have consulted several friends with this build and their opinions have been very helpful, but i would also like some more opinions. Thanks!

i dont care for that case, get something for half that price and pick up an ssd, you could prolly drop the psu a bit my calc is showing needing 475watts, so drop it to a 650 and with the savings from that and the case savings grab an ssd for a bit disk, 64gb is fine, m4 from newegg is 80 bucks atm. i hate having a slow drive as my disk, i have used 5400 rpms for it and its terrible. you could also trim 50ish off getting the asrock extreme 3 gen 3 z68

Do not get that HDD, everybody else will agree. 5900 rpm for main drive is terribly slow. Its mostly meant for storage. Get a 7200rpm ATLEAST.

I would try to fit a 7950/7970 in the budget though. Also could get a cheaper/better case maybe.

Seems like you aimed a bit low on GPU for the budget allocated.

Also make sure to get a good CPU cooler so you can make a solid 4.5-5.0 OC..
If that will be your main drive, then I suggest you get at least a 7200 rpm HDD as the 5400 will be just too slow. If you won't SLI in the future then I would get a 550W or 650W power supply just make sure it has enough current on the 12V rail for the video cards you will be using (for the one you have listed it's 38 amps) Oh, and you can get that video card on EVGA's website for $10 cheaper atm.

Yeah, i would go with a 7200 rpm drive. To be honest, with ivy bridge only a few weeks away, unless something has changed recently, i would just wait for that.

Do you think a mid tower would be able to fit everything in with moderate space? I know that the 570 is a pretty beefy card, which was why i selected a full tower in the first place, and i think this HDD would be better? :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
