I have a Logitech G9X, andI have not experienced any mouse issues in any bios version. I do have a voltage control issue though...

I've had mouse problems in BIOS before, turn DPI down if the mouse has a button on it, it should stop.

I've had the voltage control issue with every bios. If I increase the CPU's multi even +1, the voltage jumps up to 1.36v and hits 1.39v under load. I have to set a rediculous offset of -0.05v just to keep the vcore at 1.365 under load.

Have you fiddled with the LLC? I noticed even set on low it gives me a big jump but on auto it does not. (I'm also having deja-vu feeling like I've said this before)

Yeah, I have it set to "High" now. If I have everything on default (LLC on Auto), the voltage peaks at 1.24v. But if I increase the multi +1, or higher (with LLC on Auto), it jumps to 1.39v under load (and sometimes up to 1.40v)

Weird, I might play around with the settings and see if I can find something that effects this.

ok i get it because you set your LLC as high, Asus X79 boards are known to overvolt by some amount if you set LLC above anything but normal. Avoid using anything but normal if you do not want overvolting...yes even at Auto, it will overvolt.

It seems Asus is aware of this problem, but not fix it for X79, only in their Z77 is the LLC overvolting fixed. Me think is the hardware fault in their X79 designs...rolleyes.gif

Mine set LLC at High but doesn't experienced overvolt at all. Using offset +0.04 & VCORE is nicely at 1.36V max @4.5GHz (Prime95 blend & IBT). I can go lower because I can run 4.6GHz at the same VCORE but I'm too lazy. redface.gif

EDIT: I have different processor. So, it might CPU specific issue?

Well, my board is now going to RMA (Assuming they even approve it, I have an Asus graphics card I've requested RMA for 3 times now in 4 months and never heard a peep back). After all the hassle with it the onboard audio died. All I get is a whining noise, even in the BIOS and it doesn't detect any speakers hooked up to it. Great Asus quality there, and I'm about to sucker myself into buying another Asus board. mad.gif
