and you know this because you have owned how many different sets?
all i am saying is to listen to them and consider what they will be used for. maybe you will be able to hear the sound difference, maybe you wont. maybe 5.1 is a big deal, maybe it isnt. maybe you could really use the extra inputs, maybe not. most people wouldnt be able to tell the difference between the different sets if they werent told who the manufacturer was if they are connected to a pc.
additionally, consider the source. the OP is connecting the speaker system to an ASUS Xonar DX, which is considered a great all around middle-of-the-road card for movies/music/games, but isnt hi-end audiophile equipment
now if you want to compare the logitechs to another 5.1 system, say Onkyo HTX-22HDX with the option speaker upgrades, then yea i would say look towards the higher-end Onkyos (plus with them you get hdmi)Edited by sli_shroom - 2/18/12 at 9:45am
