I doubt that the difference is all that huge. If I'm not mistaken they use the same c-media chip but a different dac and are missing a few features that I don't take advantage of anyways.
I love my Xonar DX, I think that you would be pleased with it.
Nope, they use different chips. The DX is the better card. IMO, dolby headphone isn't that impressive, but to each their own.

I would go with the Xonar DX for 50 bucks or so unless you can score a refurbed/used titanium HD for under 100.
