Wow, that M3 is fast.. I may go with that haha

I'm not that great with SSDs, etc, so I'm pretty clueless as what to buy

I can verify that it is a good drive, I have one myself I got it for $90 tho XD.

Here is my quick review. http://www.overclock.net/t/1208440/plextor-m3-series-128gb-ssd-unboxing-and-review

Another member got even better results on AS SSD too.

Decisions decisions.

This brings us back to the question of the OP. Is there enough gain to actually be worth it? From the reserch I've done, it seems that the performance gain is minimal. But still 2xSSD in RAID 0 is cool. Isn't it?

The reason I ask is

Newegg

Samsung 830 64GB x2 for 219.00
Samsung 830 128 GB for 199.99

This of course is hoping that the drive controller will actually play nice in RAID.

Speaking of M4's.

Crucial M4 64GB x2 for 159.98

or

Crucial M4 128GB for 179.99.

I think that one is a no brainer at that price. But Crucial vs Samsung.
