My friend is building a new pc and he wants to use this board with a E6300, is this a good choice??? Any particular issues about it??

It's an MSI.....not a fan of their stuff. MSI and ECS occupy the lowest level of the chain IMHO for quality and performance.

I would suggest one of the following, depending on his budget...

Hey, thumper, do you know if they have updated the BIOS to allow for higher FSB speeds now? I did some research on mobo's before I bought this one, since I'm getting the e6400, I decided that I should start in on OCing my comp.

I've always had good experience with MSI (save the 3 I fried from not having it on a surge protector... my bad), but I've started to notice that MSI tends to have a lower threshold for abuse (pardon me if I ramble... I'm tired).

And where can I get the software for the 400Mhz OC?? That'ld be nice.
