The 8032 seems to have boosted by 460 PPD from low 12k to 15300 or so. The downside is that I had to downclock it a bit so that it would not fail the WUs with unstable machine and the temps are about 10c hotter.

My GT 440 does not look to have changed at all from in PPD for a 8032. It is getting 5.1k which at best might be 100 more then normal.
I'm getting these WUs on my 450, which doesn't have the -advmethods flag set. The PPD is up from around 8000 to 8700. It is up to 68-70c from 57-59c (good thing I just bought that Accelero L2 for it!).

PPD on my 470 is up from 14900 to 18300.

I'm getting a nice ppd boost on my GTX 560 Ti at the expense of an 8C bump in temps at a slightly higher fan speed. Im up from around 13k to 17k at stock though, so I'm happy smile.gif I hope these units are here to stay for a while... I'm still mad about losing the 900pt units.

wow you guys sure know all the stats on your systems. All i can say is that I heard the fan kicking it into high annoying mode a couple of times last night and that the temps are a bit higher.

Kind of weird that my 440 is getting temps 5c higher (the only full load temp I really know) but seeing no real boost in PPD. the 440 is not a great card and only bought it to fold in my media server. Happy with the performance of the 460 though
post #49 of 144
The GPU temperatures are higher generally because it is doing more work. The newer GPU work units take more of the load off of the CPU, which has the added benefit of making your CPU TPF go down as well. This is one of the reasons why I'm happy that my 450 can run these WUs; it couldn't run the older -advmethods ones.

I just received one of these units. I lowered my clock speed, but am getting BSOD error "a" when ever my first 460 gets 10 or so frames in.

Any one had this error?
