Looking for laptop/notebook $800-$100! Help.

Thread Starter
Looking for a Laptop/Notebook/Netbook for a friend around $800 - $1000.

He wants these specs:
12-15" screen.
Around 4-6 hour battery life.
WIFI connection.
3G connectivity.
250-500GB HDD.
Fairly light (2kg).
Webcam built in.
Has a decent CPU/GPU.
Has warranty of about four years.

Will be using it mostly for work, with programs like Adobe Photoshop. Should be able to run these programs decently.

Cheers if you guys know of anything around this price worth buying! smile.gif

Sorry for late reply.

I can purchase the laptop from any retailer both online (preferable) or offline, though I am going under Australian Dollar so bear that in mind.

Go with the DV6z. You won't regret it. Get the 1080p screen for sure and 7690m if serious gaming is going to happen (the APU is good enough to handle most games at medium and native res already).
