BenQ xl2420t corrupted default settings?

Thread Starter
I've had this monitor for about a week now and suddenly today when I turn it on everything if full green, I try changing dvi cables, restarting, etc etc but nothing works. Then I change the profile on it and everything comes back, but on the standard setting green is at 100% now for some reason? I can't figure out how to reset it or how it got corrupted :/. In the Colour temperature presets for the standard setting I can select normal (bright green everything), bluish (sort of bright everything), reddish (everything is pink) and user mode, user mode is the only one which works :/.

I'm getting the same problem, on standard setting now ! my monitor is roughly coming up to a week from being opened up from being new (ordered from scan.co.uk). Manufacture date on the label says December 2011.

Something to note, this 'green' effect first appeared for me while trying out the senseye demo function available on the monitors control settings, so I have a feeling the currently problem maybe connected to the senseye problem? The senseye demo functioned fine originally, but after the second or third day it turned into green shade you experienced with 'standard' settings (the left hand side of the preview) .

I'm also currently having a problem with refresh rate not displaying above 60hz on 1920x resolution on desktop. It's only just happened today. I've got the monitor plugged into my Asus DirectCU II 6950 1GB via it's 'dual link' DVI compatible connector, along with my old CRT monitor in it's original port via d-sub to DVI adapter. Going to try disconnecting my CRT from the graphics card port, to see if it's interfering somehow.

The only thing i've done to 'modify' the monitor, if so, is to download the BF3 and Heaton 'gamer' profiles for the monitors settings. Also to note, the monitors 'reset' option in it's Control Panel does not erase those gamer profiles, nore fix the problem with the 'standard' profile setting gone green on 'normal', via color temperature setting in the control panel. It just defaults the gamer 1, 2 & 3 s-switch settings and buzzer sound back on (if you had it turned off).

May have to send this monitor back for a replacement !
