If thats the kind of money your looking to spend then you wont get much better than what you have selected. The 2500K is the best CPU for that kind of money and the motherboard and RAM you have selected are widely considered some of the bets around.

I don't know about the air cooler as I haven't air cooled in quite a while but I have heard good things about it.

My only suggestion would be to wait a couple of months as it is believed that the next generation of intel preocessors is just around the corner (Ivy Bridge). Suspected 10% performance increase for roughly the same price. New Z77 boards should be released at the same time as well.

Id really love to wait as well but with how inconsistent work is (and has been for a while) I doubt ill have anything to spend when IB rolls around so im willing to chance the Z68 not supporting IB and buy now :| . I probably wont have any spending money after tuesday so. (that and coming from upgarding every 6 months to having this same rig for 5 years is getting a bit annoying..)

Also if mid/highish end Z77 boards are priced any higher than Z68 it would price me out of upgrading till they came down anyways. To think some years back i felt bad about spending more than $150 on a MoBo... Maybe the wrong reasons to go now but i almost feel as though i need to as i have no clue when my next shot will be. Could be 3 or 4 months from now, or it could be another 5 years redface.gif

As far as I am aware, alot of the later Z68 motherboards (like the one you have selected) will support ivy bridge with a bios update. I'm not 100% on that though. I just seem to recall reading it somewhere.
