You know i actually really enjoyed the game, but you can definitely tell it was developed with the console in mind. I sometimes wonder how some of these games would have turned out, if the consoles did not have such extreme limitations.

I agree with alot of whats said in here. The foliage in Crysis is awesome! I haven't played Crysis 2 but Crysis 1 is pretty sweet when it comes to foliage and water texture. BF3 has horrible water texture when your playing the game. Bf3 has awesome lighting and awesome reflection lighting effects but I think crysis wins hands down on foliage and water.


Whenever I play crysis I can't figure out why it takes about 10 5.56mm rounds to kill an enemy on single player. I mean you literally can just keep shooting at the enemy and they don't die...I think that's really unrealistic.

Personally I enjoy playing both. It's what you have fun with. Sometimes I get bored with bf3 and play some crysis and the game looks great! Sometimes I get bored with crysis and play some bf3. The point is they're different games and they have their pros and cons to each. No 1 game is ascetically 'perfect' so we almost all have some personal bias on how a game looks. We could have a million of these threads that talk about differences in graphics between games, honestly I don't think its necessary, but thats IMO...

Draw distance... The further you are away, the less bullets will impact... But you can get 1 shot kills if you hit the head precisely...
Shoot a far distance, and you will actually see the bullet start to fall, as this is also in BF3...

Added two more videos... Crysis Warhead is definitely more taxing on my system then Battlefield 3 while recording with FRAPS...
I know some of you obviously know how the games look, but i'm uploading for those who haven't seen or played them, and the ones I seen on YouTube are only 720p...

I've played metro, crysis warhead, and bf3. I always just considered them to be different styles. Also, metro 2033 is such a bummer to play. It is so boring (so boring it should be disqualified, because it may not even be a game).
