Fair enough, we all play favorites. I just follow the money.
Why I listed the MicroCenter combos first. NCIXUS is also good.

i dont hate intel at all.....but usually intel's processors are alot higher priced then amds. I love to game, but i have a budget because i have a cruddy paying job and noone wants to hire me for a cushy it job so budget is where its at. i just get tired of seeing people suggesting intel builds in amd build logs. /thread jack. opp looks pretty good. do what makes you happy bud

Already grabbed the athlon II x3 455 and the ASRock 970 Extreme 3 for just under $130 as a combo at microcenter. Got a 500GB WD caviar blue 6Gb/s for $59 at CompUSA due to them not changing their pricing signs.EVGA GTS 450 for just under $100 after tax. The Kingston HyperX RAM I linked to in the beginning for $24. Ended up with the CX600 PSU and re-using a DVD burner i had laying around along with a Thermaltake v3 I had sitting in the closet as well.
