BSOD help. - Page 4

Yeah I'm using it now with 4GB of RAM installed instead of 6GB, I have RMA'd it once and that was 3 years or so ago, You think Id' be able to RMA it again ? got it from overclockers.co.uuuuu

I was getting the same problems when I RMa'd it before, you would have thought they would have found the error.

I was getting the same problems when I RMa'd it before, you would have thought they would have found the error.

There shouldn't really be an issue, but it's of course up to Gigabyte and not me tongue.gif

Contact the manufacturer (Gigabyte) and explain to them one of your DIMM slots isn't working properly, but the others do. Hopefully they'll accept your RMA and you can get things sorted out.

I'm not really bothered about the last spot my pc been running like a dream since ive not been using it, only annoyance is only using 4GB of RAM, Can i put all 3 in the 1st 3rd an 5th slot ? been running them in 2nd 4th 6th wereass 6th is the dodgy one


And thanks alot for all your help, bet you get sick of it from time to time.

I wouldn't just put your sticks in random DIMM slots. If you check your manual, it'll tell you what slots they recommend for all different ram configurations. If yours isn't working as intended, I'd just RMA the board to get it over with.
