Capturing BF2 movies?

Thread Starter
I have seen quite a few movies floating around the Net of people playing BF2, and I would like to try to 'tape' myself playing.

I can't get the files to play back in the battle recorder. I keep getting an error message along the lines of "failed to connect to http server"

Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, what would be a good program to actually capture the video. As I understand it, you can't actually save the file, just view it.

Thanks,

I was wanting to record some battlefield footage to but I cant play the game to my full potential when fraps is dragging my game down to 30fps with some freezes. And the server demo feature seems none existent. Why couldent they have the simple demo recorder like all the other fps games?
