Yes, I'm on 2.22. My last post is right above Adridu.
Unfortunately I didn't know they were low end, crappy drives at the time. I didn't plan on buying a SSD as part of my upgrade, it was a last minute decision because I didn't need another drive for space. I was going to get a small VRaptor for speed and thought, "hey!, why don't I just get a SSD" since I was going for speed and not space.
There were 3 drives on Newegg that fit the profile for what I was looking for which was high rating, SATA3, 120GB and in the $100 bracket, the Solid 3 and Agility 3 came up but the Agility 3 had lots of bad PR attached so I didn't want it. I didn't even think to check 128GB...oversight as I'm not used to that size (spinners as you know come with 0s at the end). A few other options were there but none had the ratings of those 2.
I am currently discussing the issue over at OCZ but all they *seem* care about is the SMART status which I don't think is too indicative of real life performance; definitely not in this case. I should have screenshotted everything, but on my last install I've already gotten 4 small crashes (browser crashes) due to the drive. I posted a screeny and will see what the staffer says next. Here it is.
I'm sure with more use my event log will fill up with these errors.
Worse case scenario is I leave it in my HTPC I guess. It's pretty zippy with it. I'll have to see if it affects viewing Netflix/hulu/xfinity/crunchyroll too badly, in which case I guess I just screwed myself out of $100.
