Ok dumb question im sure but I have the Corsair Force 3 and it uses sandforce I think, but how/why do I get it? All I did was install windows on my SSD and did some OS tweaks and I am done. Not sure if there is a driver/sandforce I should be getting or if windows automatically did? It has been running fine so not sure.

Are you wanting to make sure you set everything up right and have the proper drivers installed?
Did you use my install guide? If so you're set, if not look it over.

There is no driver for the SandForce drive you need to download, it is simply the AMD chipset/AHCI driver combo package you need for your system. You are set. 
SandForce is referring to the SSDs controller.

When we talk about sandforce mate, we are talking about something actually in the drive. And when we say about firmware updates, this is like a BIOS within the drive, that can be updated. Hope this gives you a better understanding. So Dimaggio, want adding to the club?

One more day and I'll be installing the 520 Series 120GB in the new build..
I'm guessing I am just going to leave my current Windows 7 install on the HDD in place, just as a backup in case something happens to the Win7 install on the new SSD. Just to be on the safe side I guess..
