help with selecting a new board. - Page 2

Intel with a 2500k is a very good deal actually, if you are buying mobo + cpu, I would actually recommend ppl to get intel, i5 2500k can be probably the best price/performance at the moment, if you were still thinking on getting those boards, I wouldnt recommend to get them, specially the asus one, I had a m5a87 and danmn I regret wasting money on that board, a lot of ppl with memory and with my current FX8120, and the bios is getting updated month per month to fix bugs, I just couldnt wait for them to get there stuff fixed and went out and got a sabertooth 990fx and damn what a difference, if you really want to buy something that will help you with piledriver I would seriously recommend to safe a lil bit more and get a good mobo, there are plenty out there like gigabyte 990fx-UD5 which i believe is around $170 or the asus sabertooth which is $200, yes double the 100, but believe it will worth it, specially if you planning on doing some overclock on it.
