thats good, but when things like these happen all the time dont bash the company like that. "thanks for covering monsoons mistake" I guarantee that if you contacted Gene directly (the guy who makes the fittings), he would have taken better care of you. He's been a tremendous help to me when I had one TINY problem, and fixed it right away. What people don't get is that forums have a lot of influence, and when people see things like this, even if the fittings are great, they can really screw over a great company. Monsoon isnt a huge fitting name like bitspower, so when someone says something like this it makes a BIG impact.
Glad to see the issue was fixed but it was a simple mistaken package. For all you know, frozen could have shipped the wrong size to you. people just need to think of the consequences of what they say, because now that your issue is gone, they are "impressive" But now people will only see the negative in this, but if you had gone through the mfr., it could have showed people how great of a company monsoon is.

Yeah I see what you're saying (I removed my "monsoon's mistake" line), but in all my years of ordering PC parts I've never gotten the wrong part packaged inside the right box before. So I don't think it's something that "happens all the time," at least not in my experience. Also, after re-reading my post I don't think I said anything to bash monsoon... I mean you'd be pretty disappointed too if you ordered a part, the correct box comes in with the correct label (from monsoon) but the wrong part is inside. That's all I complained about. I'd say the same regardless of what part or company its from.

Also, Frozen took care the issue with no problems (and they said they had never seen that before either) so it wasn't really a matter of "taking better care of me." They double checked another box to make sure they were the right size and got the right ones to me in two days.

So sure, mistakes happen. I'm not even mad about it, never really was, just a little disappointed at first. I got the right sized fittings now so I'm happy.

Now i wish i could say that, but that has happend on quite a few occations to me, ill have to put that down to having so much pass through my hands that there has to be a bad part now and then.

PPc sent me the wrong wrench size with my Monsoon order of two 6 packs of 1/2 ID 3/4 OD fittings. Not sure if it was their fault or if they came prepackaged, but I ended up with two 3/8 wrenches that obviously didn't fit around the hose. Fortunately I had a 3/4 OD wrench from the first 6 pack set I had.

At this point I'm just waiting for them to release their 90 degree angled fittings so I can finish the loop and leak test it. I could go with Bitspower, but I'd rather stay consistent with the same brands I use.
