NZXT Sleeved LED Kits (White) and RED 24pin extension?

Hello OCN,

So I've been contemplating about this for awhile now.. I've pretty much got my PC to what I wanted to be in terms of performance.. now I'm starting to work on aesthetics. Now I have a Storm Enforcer Case (Black interior, with built in red 200mm fans) and I got a Republic of Gamer motherboard (Black and Red theme)... I'm thinking about getting a RED Sleeved 24pin extension cord as a starter.. and a NZXT Sleeved LED Kits (White)... I don't know if it would fit in terms of coloring..

Basically I don't know if I should get 24pin RED Sleeved extension, with NZXT White Sleeved LED lighting kit...(If it would "fit" to the current color theme.)

24pin extension (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11048/cab-202/ModRight_CableRight_Single_Braid_MB_24-Pin_Extension_Cable_-_Red.html?tl=g2c473)

NZXT white led kit (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12159/lit-243/NZXT_Premium_Sleeved_Bright_LED_Kit_-_2_Meter_-_White_CB-LED20-WH.html) **Should I get 2 meter or 1 meter? I don't know in terms of length if it's worth $5 more for the 2m. (I have Mid ATX case)

Any thoughts? In my mind it looks gorgeous, but I need a second opinion. smile.gif

Here are some pictures if you are confused.

I have practically the exact same set up as you lol. Great minds think alike!

I already have the NZXT sleeved white LEDs installed; they look phenomenal. I highly recommend them. I removed the LED controller from the pci extension bracket, taped the bottom of the board in electrical tape, and mounted it on top of the lower HDD cage with velcro (for aesthetic purposes). I have the 1m length which was enough to wrap around three sides of the side-panel window (both sides and top). The LEDs light up the entire case and looks amazing with the red LED fans.

I just ordered the NZXT extension cables (red) from Amazon and they should be in on Wednesday/Thursday. I went with these extensions because they were the cheapest (compared to other brands such as Bit-Fenix). I have several feet of black sleeving that I may or may not re-sleeve half of the extensions with. I will know when I get it all in the case. Here is the link for Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Nzxt+cb+%28red%29

I picked up every cable I needed (except for the USB 3.0 MOBO header; which I already have sleeved in red but I may not even use it). The total came out to about $60 for EVERYTHING including 2 6 pin extensions, an 8 pin extension (just in case since I don't have my GPU yet), and the front panel connectors!

If you are still wondering what it will look like before you make the purchase I will post up pictures once I get the extensions installed and cable management done. I think it will look amazing. Just let me know if you would like photos. If you do go ahead and get them (or already have them) we will have twin PC's lol.

Oh my goodness!

There are so much things we have in common! (Like you mentioned)

Days since I started the thread, I had purchased the NZXT White led kit 1m, along with some cable extensions from NZXT as well! (Except the 24pin, got it from bitfenix.)

You cannot believe how I am astonished right now, I saw your post in the Storm Enforcer thread, I'll post mine up ASAP when I can find my camera charger biggrin.gif

Post a pic of your case with the lighting!! (I haven't seen it in the Storm Enforcer thread yet!)

So where do you get an LED controller from?
