First Build Intel i5 Please help

Thread Starter
Hello all, I havent built a computer in quite a long time. I have researching for a few days and have come up with an idea.
Please rate the build. I am trying to stay at $1.000 or lower. I am slightly over right now but thats fine. I guess at least some where near 1,000 will be ok. Please letme know if there are any tweaks to save money, but not skip on performance. I am looking to get all my parts from one place. All thats here is from Newegg.com. Thanks alot everyone for your suggestions! biggrin.gif

Honestly, i know its "cool" to say that you have the professional version, but unless you really need that XP mode, grab the OEM Home Edition 64 bit, it will save you $40

Just a suggestion for a case:

If you have a local Micro Center you can save some money on the motherboard and processor.

For hard drive, I would recommend you to get a SSD instead unless you absolutely need the space.

That Power supply is pretty decent already. I wouldn't really recommend another one.
