Is it just me, or does something about this thread feel odd?
Case: Antec 300 $62

Hard Drive: Seagate 500GB 7200RPM $85

Mobo: ASRock FM1 Board for overclocking. Normal FM1 boards work just fine. $90

GPU: Sapphire 6670 $70 for Hybrid Graphics

PSU: SeaSonic 430W $65

APU: A8-3870k $140

You can lower the APU and the Motherboard to save money

Total comes to $551

Just you bro. Not sure what your comment is implying but I don't like it man. Please if you have something to say SAY it. Don't be a little girl about it or anything. I am merely trying to do my part fold a bit, build as many pc's as possible, and over clock them. I just ask you be a man about it whatever is bothering you. Also, you could have AT LEAST added SOME sort of useful advice, or input or something instead of your pretty much useless comment. Not trying to be a dirk or anything, just keeping it real you know.

I really really like that build. And this is what we came to on another thread. .

http://www.overclock.net/t/1217116/amd-a4-3400-apu-x-biostar-a55mh-fm1-x-but-what-gpu/0_100#post_16511649

What do you guys think about what we discussed ??

I would like to at least TEST out the best APU build. . See if it can handle some SWTOR and maybe BF3 without FAILING.

I'm really not a fan of this build.

First of all, the PSU is a ripoff (no good-minded person would pay that much for a ~$430W! There are modular 550-650W PSUs with great quality for less than that!)

Second of all, the case is also not very good for price (look for the NZXT Source 210, it ousts the Antec 300 in features for a lower price of $40 shipped)
Thirdly, why this much is being allocated for the case and PSU is ridiculous on a build that will never need more than a good 350W PSU.  You might as well take that money and put it towards better hardware.

Fourthly, the budget.... ugh...... you can configure a perfectly good AM3+ Phenom II x4/FX-4100 + HD 7770, 6870 or better for the same price.  A8 APU builds are really more suited for $400-500 budgets and for people who may prefer power efficiency over huge graphics horsepower.
