you gonna post the progress on your Youtube page?

It would be sweet to see the progress in video me being a subscriber and all rolleyes.gif lol

Looks great by the way! happy you resolved what you were going to do about your 600t situation..

Hopefully this is the "proper" water cooling your looking for!

Haha well thanks! I have been doing a little video here and there along the way, hopefully turns out good and I can put it all together for YouTube. A case like this is definitely what I've been looking for, for the price that it's at, and with the features it offers, I couldn't resist! biggrin.gif

Subbed, was thinking about getting a switch but im not sure about its external aesthetics, for that reason im sticking with my phantom. Looks pretty good though, surprised how big those 570 blocks are compared to my 580 block... is the 580 much bigger than the 570?

So I think I got a good amount done tonight. I ran into a couple hiccups, but nothing major. Hope it doesn't seem like this is taking too long, I know it's not an extravagant build with major mods, but just trying to take my time and do it right the first time. Plus that thing I have to attend everyday really takes up a lot of my time, yea that full time job thing. thumb.gif

So like most do, first thing to go in was the power supply, but this was also the first hiccup. The lip that sits on top of the PSU was pushed down too far, and the PSU could not fit underneath it.

But like I said, really nothing major, just had to pry it up a little with my hand and the PSU was able to slid into place.

I've heard a lot of good things about the stock NZXT fans, hope I like 'em smile.gif
700
Sorry didn't get any pictures in between, but all of the sudden the top rad and motherboard were in.
700
Fans that are up top pulling.

Some more inside shots

Needs to clean my fingerprints off everything when I'm done of course rolleyes.gif

Then I ran into my second hiccup. thinking.gif For those who are curious, the front of the Switch will not natively support a 240 rad. There is mounting locations for two 120mm fans, but they are not spaced correctly to accommodate a radiator. The default mounting has about an inch between the two 120mm fan locations.
700
There needs to be a hole here, and on the other side as well.
700
No holes? OK so just make them thumb.gif
450
450
Here you can see the new hole, I'm sure you can tell which one it is being it's not as clean as the others nor is it threaded.
700
Worked just fine though and now both rads are in where I want them biggrin.gif

700
700
Here you can see even with drilling the two holes, the very bottom of the rad has no area to be mounted to. But it's very solid as is, and I think I'm gonna leave it.
700
700
Couple more shots
700

Well that's all I have for now guys, I'm gonna go pass out now sleepysmileyanim.gif

Yea the way it looks on the outside took time to grow on me. The features and price really got me though, but now that I have it in person, I'm loving it. Normally a reference GTX 570 is the exact same size as a GTX 580. But my cards are the GTX 570 HD versions, with 2.5GB of memory, they use a non-reference PCB which makes them similar in size to a GTX 560 Ti.

Thought of mounting the 240 in the bottom of the case where it natively supports radiator??

Mike, what fans are those on the top of the 360?

Tried doing a test run painting one of my extra YL's white and red.. didn't go so well, so trying to sell those, to get something else that will match the case, and the paint job I am going to be doing on the rad.

have you thought about painting the ram heatspreaders white or black, so it would be more in tone with the rest of the components?
