No I don't wanna do that, because there will be more blue going in the build, I got them specifically to go along with the blue/white theme. Guess they look out of place at the moment, but hopefully it will pull together as the tubing goes in.

Tried doing a test run painting one of my extra YL's white and red.. didn't go so well, so trying to sell those, to get something else that will match the case, and the paint job I am going to be doing on the rad.

The fans up top and the back of the EK 240 are Xigamatek's XLF-F1255. I haven't ever had much luck either when trying to paint fans. So are you going to try painting new fans as well? Or just the radiator itself? Good luck biggrin.gif

Looks awesome man well done. The fans you are using, what is there rated RPM. I'd like to see the white fans inside as they will be seen but with the white shroud or w/e you call it might mesh to much with the rad, if it was black as the Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 fans.

heh, tried painting one of my yate's.. didn't turn out. the Phobya's I'm getting will be the clear shroud, and red blades. so I'll only be painting the rad.

for the question I asked you, was what WHITE fans are those. on the top of the case.

Thank you! The two Gelid's on the front of the EK rad are rated for 1,800RPM max, all the Xigmatek fans are rated for a max of 1,500RPM, and the top BitFenix fans have a max of 1,000RPM. If I had matching fans for the top and bottom of the 360 rad, I would do just as you said and have all of the fans inside the case. But I figured since the tops fans didn't match the bottom fans, might as well put them up top, and like you said not have it mesh to much with the rad.

For now it looks good no complaints, at least you know what you can do in the future for even better looks. I ordered the EX360 rad and was planning on running 1800 RPM fans (Zalman ZM-F3) up top push and 1500 RPM on pull inside but I think running the rad as exhaust would be better but I'm only speculating. The 1800 RPM fans are all black and as I've said white inside will look lekker. Painting them wont be much of an issue (I hope). Check out Lutro0's guide.

Since you are running 1000-1500 RPM fans on the top rad I rate the Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 fans will be good enough for push.

Looking great! Did you think about installing the rad on the pivot fans? biggrin.gif

Thanks! thumb.gif I did consider it, I have seen the discussion about it going on in the owners thread. But, I wanted the extra space that I get from removing the two hard drive cages. Sitting here at my desk at the moment running through possible tubing routes, things could change rolleyes.gif
