Yea I had wanted to put up a video even before the work began on the case, kind of an overview before I tore into it...had some real bad luck though, my mechanical drive died on me, lost all the videos I made on it, including all my previous videos in the works, but what really sucks is the years worth of photos and videos of my family and kids that were stored on it because I didn't wanna keep them on my SSDs doh.gifmad.gifaxesmiley.png
I recovered some of it though, so getting back on track and trying to put some videos up, thanks for the support.

Are you made out of money that you can use SSDs as storage?

Unfortunately, no lol. My previous rig was from 2007. For the past 2 years I've been saving up a little money each week for a new computer. ~$3,000 budget which was accumulated over the course of two years is pretty reasonable IMO. I was able to fit a 512GB and a 256GB SSD in my budget. biggrin.gif

This is the LED UV light sitting in the top of the case shining down. And then I have this 4 inch cathode sitting in the 5.25 inch bays shining in towards the motherboard.

I might be starting a water cooling build soon and yours has inspired me to do so. Like the clean look and I'm hoping to replicate in in red if possible. biggrin.gif
The basis for my colors
PSU
Motherboard
RAM

Then maybe going with corsair obsidian series case for the black and red color scheme.

Also, possibly taking my cougars you see in my avatar and modding/painting them red.

So is a rig really ever TRULY done?? I'm sure most members of this forum are just like me, and have that never ending itch to tinker. biggrin.gif
If my Switch ends up anything like my 600T, I've got a long road to go down....and first up is I've decided to try a different pump, a good 'ol Swiftech MCP655-B with a Bitspower mod kit to dress it up and go with the blue of the build. I really like this version of the MCP655 that Performance-PCs sells because they tap and thread it with G1/4 threads to be used with whatever barbs or compression fittings you want, in this case the Bitspower black compression fittings I'm using.
450
700
450
450

And I'm not really changing the pump out just for the hell of it. Besides wanting this in there because I want it to look better than the EK pump, more importantly is I want this to be quieter, and I want a better performing pump.

That mod kit looks great, the pump by itself looks to industrial to me although it is the best! My budget only allowed for a DDC pump but im sure it will get the job done.

Oh btw im stealing your SSD mount idea, loved it since I saw it haha, one question: will a 90° sata data cable work, little hard to judge by the images.

Keep up the good work man thumb.gif
