Triple monitor setup 6950.... confused

post #1 of 5

I searched but couldn't find a clear cut answer....

Can I run Triple monitors on ONE 6950 w/ eyefinity using one with Display Port adapter, one HDMI, and one DVI?

None of my monitors have a DP, so I would have to use a DP to DVI adapter.

thanks in advance

Yes, you need one active adapter.

Monitor #1, DVI --> DVI --> 6950
Monitor #2, DVI --> DVI --> 6950

Monitor #3, DVI --> DVI-to-MiniDP Active Adapter --> 6950

Can one be HDMI? Or do the other two have to be DVI?
