I am going to be bringing Ashley and Miranda along as my two squadmates for as long as humanly possible throughout ME3...at least for one of my playthroughs lol...

Am I alone in this?! cheers.gifdevil.gif

I thoroughly enjoyed playing through it and cannot wait for release. Shame us in the UK have to wait until the 9th frown.gif

I've been trying to push through ME1 for awhile now (2 years?). It's a pretty frustrating feeling, but not as bad as waiting for the elevators to finish moving. mad.gif

Mass Effect 1 should be completely remade with Mass Effect 2's gameplay.

Then it'd be tolerable. I also, tried to play ME1 again, after ME2, to no avail, I did this twice, and could not get into it.

It's just...so bad.

The difference is one is an RPG, the other is Gears of War with dialogue.

Much like Shakespeare is Arabic poetry, except in English. And the sky is like the ground, except browner.

More retarded comparisons in 3, 2...

A useless inventory and clunky combat does not make an RPG just because you grew up playing RPGs back when those ****ty flaws were a staple of the genre. RPG means just that - you're playing a role that you help define in a story whose elements you also help define. How many N7 suits you're carrying is not essential to the definition.

And to top it off, while the story was necessarily weaker as the middle of a trilogy, the quality of writing for the actual characters in ME2 was significantly better than it was in the original.

Don't get angry at me, I like ME2 infinitely better than ME1, if you didn't get the sarcasm based on what die-hard fans of the series like to say about it. Maybe if I added some smileys it would work better? wink.gif

it is true that ME2 feels more dynamic, but if ME1 would be so crappy, there would be no ME2 and upcoming ME3. But this is totally different matter to discuss.
