i only had my stuff less then a week i called asus and told them what it did and they told me motherboard was dead then i tested the cpu in a friends pc and it was dead to. So when i talked to newegg i told them what asus said and that i had the cpu tested and they let me do a advance rma. I thk newegg only has 14 or 30 days on replacements thru them im not sure about newegg.ca tho.

Just because your fan turns on your PSU does NOT mean it is good. Take it to any computer shop and they would probably test it for free, at least we do in my shop. You could have a dead 12v rail on your PSU and not know it. Best way to tell if it is mobo/cpu would be to disconnect anything from the mobo besides what essentials you need to make it post (vid card, psu, 1 ram stick!). Try that and if nothing take out the 1 ram stick and try powering on, if it does power on but no beeps then %99 chance it is mobo. Typically not a mobo/cpu though if it wont even turn the CPU fan when powered on. Check mobo closely thought top and bottom for burn marks or black marks. Although you should definitely have a decent surge protector hooked up (I recommend APC) most decent power supply's have built in surge-protection where it will blow either a fuse or Capacitor in the PSU before the extra power goes into the motherboard. ALL said try a different power supply.

Cheers:)

thanks forr reply, i send mobo to rma, i dont have access to different PSU, and it is one rail. Also, computer doesnt starting up at all. it is not going to bios, it is simply not trun on. like you can click how many times u want the power button nothing. if it wouldn't be mobo, it should go to bios at any time, brcause wehn u loading, you bios laods prior evething else, nothing is recieving power nor drivers are working. simmply saying it is a chip rafly requiring same amout of power as fan, more or less
well will c soon when mobo will arive
