H60 is horrible. I need high speed fans to keep cool. I have 2 x Kaze 3000 to keep my Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz operating normally. If i lower the speed under 1300 RPM it overheats.

Personally, if you already have a H50, I wouldn't change, but if your set on a new cooler, I would definitely say the 620. I don't have either, but have read up on them. The 620 has more flexible tubes: the H60 tubes can be a pain. The 620 also can be controlled by software, and internal water temperature. The Antec also usually runs cooler than the Corsair too.

Edit: My bad, the 620 does not have the software control. The 920 has that. Sorry for any confusion!

Hmmm, currently i have a h50, h60, and 920, had some time with a antec 620 as well. Overall i would say the h50 and h60 are very similar in terms of cooling performance (maybe the h60 is 1-2c cooler), other then that one of the major differences i noticed was that the h60 seemed to be a bit quieter in terms of pump noise.

Between the 620 and the h60 the 620 will perform slightly better then then h60 out of the box because of the fans (their rads i believe are both 27mm but the antec fans had a higher static pressure, or something around that) , but overall their cooling performance will be pretty much exactly the same (or very very similar) if they have the same fans

Edit:

I though it was the 920 that had the software control? havent played around with the 620 in a while but dont remember the 620 having a usb connection on it

You're right, the software control is for the 920 only, the 620 has a physical switch.

First off let me say you my friend have a lot of coolers tongue.gif but more importantly I will be using GT's so the performance will be around the same. Nice to know that people are saying that the 620 is quieter then the H60 and your saying the H60 is quieter then the H50. Very reassuring there that I will be able to cut out some noise thumb.gif

Thanks for the help everyone!!! It seems that the 620 is similar in performance to the H60 and sometimes even beating it. But the deciding factor for me is the noise and the 620 is supposed to be a little bit more quite! Rep+ have been given to people wink.gif

The clicking noise is causes by air in the pump. It only lasts for a few minutes when you first turn the thing on, and then it goes away entirely (At least on my 920).

My 920 is awesome, so I'm assuming the 620 will be somewhat similar. Tubing material is very easy to work with and doesn't kink easily, which is a plus. I've never used one of the corsair units but I too saw the Antec's doing better in benchmarks.

Good luck!
