EVGA 560 TI a couple questions

So, i bought this card on an impulse. It has great reviews on Newegg and people on several different forums believe it to be a good card.

My first question is, is there a different card that would have been more worth the money?

Second question is, I will eventually be overclocking this card and I was wondering if its a good stable card for that sort of thing.

Third question is, since there are such great reviews of it on Newegg, does this card perform unexpectedly well?

These probably seem like generic boring questions but please reply if you can shed any light

Thanks

Its a great card. It over clocks great. Only real limit is the one gb on vram but you can run bf3 just fine with lower AA

It is a very good card and can overclock well. If you are playing games at a higher res (>1080p), a card with more than 1GB of VRAM would help, and if you are not, this is perfect. thumb.gif

After promo code and 20 rebate its the same price as the one you got.

This is basically a GTX 570. Once you OC it to 900 mhz its performs the same / tad bit better than a stock GTX 570. Also it has 1.2 gb VRAM.

To answer your other questions.

Yes it will OC well, but the stock cooler might prevent you to get the highest clocks on a GTX 560 Ti. But having said that, I have the same EVGA card but in the 448 core version, and I was able to hit 900 mhz on it with no issues.

GTX 560 Ti is one of the best mainstream gaming card out there, so you did get a great card so no worries.
