[SOLVED] 6850CF bf3 both gpu stuck at 40%

Hi:

I have 2 6850 clocked at 850-1000, i7 920, 6gb at 1600, CCC 12.1 +cap2

I am having issues in battlefield 3, running msi osd I see that both cards top out at 40% load and i get worse fps than a single card. What exactly am I doing wrong? Thanks

Have you tested other games? How high is your CPU clocked. Can we have a MSI AB SS to check the temps and usage.

Starcraft 2 runs at 70% for both cards, temperature around 55 degrees, and cpu is clocked at 3.2

Are both of the 6pin power cables attached?

What CPU is it? If your GPU is not being fully utilized then you may be CPU-bound, meaning your CPU, may be the bottleneck in your system.

Filling out your system specs in your user control panel will help us more accurately determine if it's a hardware issue or not.

EDIT: Just saw the post with the system specs in it. Your CPU is most definitely not the bottleneck, especially with a 12% overclock on it.

What kind of temps are you seeing on the cards?

Strange to see FPS drop when in crossfire. Something is definitely wrong.

all the power connectors are properly attached, temperatures are really good.... too good infact, 55 is the highest i have seen.

IMO first question should have been are you running with Vsync enabled or disabled?
