Best Fans for Push/Pull Setup on Hyper 212+

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
The stock Blademaster on my Hyper 212+ is driving me crazy so, I've decided to get new fans. I was looking into the Enermax Silent PWM fans, and they don't look so bad. Anyone actually have these fans?

And what other silent PWM fans are there?

Thank you.

Try some CM R4's - have them on a H50 push/pull and they are super quiet and have a lot of static pressure - they also make lighted versions

Just get a pair of Low or Med speed Yate Loon D12S fans. A pair of the lows with a $3 splitter, plugged into a mobo CPU fan header should provide excellent flow and be really quiet. You can get it all from Petra's for like $6 per fan and splitters are extremely cheap. I'm running p/p D12SM's on my EX radiator (split fins, so they are very restrictive) and they provide insane airflow for the price and they are very quiet, especially when undervolted.

TLDR;
-2x Yate Loon D12SL from Petra's, get a splitter as well if your PC doesnt have 2 CPU fan headers

if you're really pushing for some nice fans,
Akasa Vipers

and of course:
the Gentle Typhoons if you can find the ones you want.

Ideally, what you're looking for in a heatsink fan is Static Pressure vs. RPM's vs. Noise
