[Sweclockers] GeForce GTX 670 Ti - Coming March 11-31, Faster Than GTX 580 - Page 4

Where there is a 670 there has to be a 680/690 looming. I just wish waterblocks could be universal.

Yeah i'm sure that'll happen because nvidia has always been generous with their pricing thumb.gif But obviously i'll buy if it is better, pretty sure i've purchased flagships from both amd and nvidia multiple times thumb.gif Its time for nvidia to put their money where their mouth is. I'm tired of hearing their gums flap, show us the goods IMO

It would take a while after release for companies to make non reference boards with there own custom coolers on them. Yeah Ima just buy the 560 ti tomorrow because I hate using this HD5450

If the gtx 670 ti is anything like the gtx 560 ti, they will have non reference designs from day one. I'd wait.

I think I'm going to get a 7970 for my next build that I want to build in like 2 weeks... honestly I would rather go Nvidia (ive never had AMD rolleyes.gif ) but I don't want to wait until April... (for a 680) for most likely a mere 8 fps (if that)

GTX560 Tis have one of the best reference designs I've ever worked with. Super-solid construction, quiet operation, and low operating temps... Can't go wrong there smile.gif Semi-unrelated post, just looking for an excuse to talk up the GTX560 Ti wink.gif That card is King of 2011. King of 2012 is as of yet undecided tongue.gif

Don't hold your breath. I could see them going for over $600 if they are 30% faster than the 7970.

Seriously? The 580 was the best you could buy for a while, and it was priced around $450-550. The prices reflect the quality, dude.

My 8800s are on their last legs, and right now I'm just waiting to see what the 7990 and whatever Nvidia puts out around March/April is like. I'm eyeballing the 7950 hard. It's about what you would pay for a GTX 580, and it outperforms it by a bit. I like the price/performance in that range.

kepler is gonna pull a bulldozer. dunno why but I have a feeling it will fail hard. their high end card will slightly outperform the 7970 wi then weeks later amd will drop the bomb with a 7980/7985 or some other stupid name. the 7970 is obviously a crippled card with some sp's removed/disabled hence the very low stock clocks and high oc headroom. and this is coming from a BIG nvidia fanboy
