Noob Question Blackberry Playbook email?

Thread Starter
I can get my hands on a Blackberry playbook for $149. I've heard that they do not have any type of email apps for it. Is this true? If not is the playbook worth it for $149? It would only be used for email, web and youtube and Netflix if the app for that every came out for it..
