I question the validity of the whole "62C" max temp argument floating around. It's been my experience that it is not only false, but it is given by AMD with the processor at stock voltage and stock speed.
As you increase not only the speed, but the voltage, the "max" temp will drop significantly. This is how processors burn out in the first place.
It's not heat, per se, it's the combination of heat + high voltage. It's like starting fire by rubbing two sticks together. Where the voltage is the rubbing, and the friction is the processor speed. Sooner or later, it starts to burn because you rub faster and faster (voltage is pressure, after all).
The processor itself can physically handle much higher temps than 62C, as is evidenced by people decapping soldered IHS's.
