Its going to be the same as BC2. Every class' weapons will be identical, so pick the one that you like the best because it won't matter much otherwise.

Fixing glaring issues like the crap-tastic GUI, VOIP, battle recorder, and the stupidly low flight ceiling should be worked on before balancing weapons for the whiners.

Yup and fix major bugs and glitces first before announcing dlcs and weapon nerfing. Theres a saying you should learn to walk before you should run.

Since DICE can't cater to what are different priorities to different people, they will always look like the bad guys. The last thing I want is a shortage of medics and engis because everyone wants to be a useless recon sniping from a thousand meters away or trying to run around with C4 chasing tanks down and failing...instead of being in the thick of firefights, reviving, resupplying, taking out armor and capping points.
Again, Battlefield 3 is already a solid overall game. I wish people didn't push their personal preferences around as if the rest of the gaming community sees them to the same degree and want to see those changes enacted just as much. That isn't usually the case...then again, PC gamers have an astounding sense of entitlement that console gamers could only hope to match.

All these vehicles and only having one kit with C4 is ridiculous!

How can you scout snipe and adapt to incoming vehicles?

Engie is useless to me, I put 4 RPG's into a tank. 2 mins later it comes around with full armour. I die. Really is fun to play.... sarcasm/

If you have ever seen me play BFBC2 you will know, I drop tanks like I drop infantry. So it should be too,

Heavy vehicle dominance, like the APC on the urban maps is not on. 3 tiny choke points, tank spamming from spawn.

They really dropped the ball on BF3, could of been alot more than a sucky insult to BF2/BC2

To be honest DICE has been going for a little bit of realism in that bullets of the same caliber do identical damage. While I'm not sure I like this approach it is kinda nice from a realism standpoint.
In my opinion though they need to give different weapons vastly different bullet velocities and damage drop off depending on barrel length and accuracy.

I'm glad they are balancing the weapons, but that's not the real issue now. What we really need is VOIP, a better UI, and better squad management.
