Don't be intimidated by the length of this first post. It's just the steps of what I'm asking help with. It'll take no more than a few minutes of your time and would benefit me dearly.
Hi guys, I'm working on a project researching CPU performance on x86 Processors, specifically the Atom processor family.
I'm humbly asking for you to run the benchmark attached. It's a zipped .jar file so you need to unzip it then run it. To run it you'll need Java Runtime Environment installed (most of you should have this).
Just open it up then click the Start Benchmark button.
Depending on your processor's performance (I really need Atom or netbook-level performance!), it should take a couple minutes to complete.
If you follow the link in the program, it'll bring you to the form below this next picture, so either method is fine.
Please copy the results listed below "Summary" and paste that in the form below
Your contributions will benefit me dearly, so I beg of you to please take the time to help me out. If anyone requests it, I can post the source later as well. Let me know!
