You guys can download that version at Softpedia...

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/NETWORK-CARD/REALTEK/Realtek-PCIE-LAN-Driver-7027-for-Win7-Win-Server-2008.shtml

If installing that version or any others doesn't work, you may just have to roll back the NVIDIA driver and wait for the next version in which this issue will be fixed.

Yeah I was careful the second and third time, because I figured I might have done that on the first time. But I'll try again with these drivers, hopefully it works now.

Battlefield 3 seems great now. I still don't know why usage goes down though. Like I'll stay between 80-120fps in multiplayer (not everything maxed. I lower a few things during multiplayer to ensure a smooth framerate), but sometimes when its at around 80fps, the GPUs usage will both be at around 80%. V-sync is off, and none of the CPU cores have a full load. So why does this happen? Seems like it does in most games. I don't really recall any where the GPUs just stay at a 99% load regardless of the framerate. Shouldn't they though with v-sync off? Well when something is really demanding, like when I max out Metro they do, for around 60-70fps, but with BF3 and a few settings lowered usage drops and will drop the framerate to 80fps. rolleyes.gif

I haven't had any crashes with 295.73's predecessor drivers but I did have occasional lockups, at first I thought there's a problem with my OC so I reverted back to stock and the lockups were still there, but when I installed 295.73 all problems went away.

Lockup as in your display goes to sleep forever until reboot?

it is such a shame these drivers dont work!!!!!

The newest nvidia drivers are screwed up, they do not work right with realtek LAN and a few other LAN devices. I was having the same problem where there was no SLI option showing up, did some research and heard it was a conflict with most LAN card. i UN-installed my LAN device and boom, SLI showed up, I re-installed LAN and SLI was still there until system restart then it was gone again.... But Nvidia is aware of the problem and trying to fix it now.

But what i did was just decided to use the older beta release 290.53, which has no trouble with SLI but now when ever i do a system restart the driver fails to properly load and windows resorts to its basic driver like when you first install it. so i have to re-install the nvidia driver ever time i restart, which is not much. pretty sure that the newest drivers corrupted something but no matter what i do i cant solve it besides re-installing windows which i don't feel like doing yet again.

so in closing...its the newest nvidia drivers that have screwed everything up...BAD!!!!! but they are working on it so look for a new beta release very soon to solve this problem with the conflicting LAN devices. they better hurry up though...cause this is really annoying!!!!!
