Mugen 2 rev.B is still a bit better then the Mugen 3
its even cheaper and the fan is quieter as well

mmm, that's interesting. I'll check for it.

Just to have an idea: How many Db an AMD stock cooler produce ? cause i read thing like " Awesome, 10 Db at full load, woot woot buy it buy it " but i don't have an idea of how noisy are 10 Db... the stock could be 13 Db and so not much difference tongue.gif

i have 2 pc's with a total of 12 Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850rpm's, 2x Scythe Slip Stream 120mm 1900rpm's and 4 pumps at max speed
40-45dB (they are in 1 room and folding 24/7)
my sister has a Mugen 2 rev.B in her pc, but i barely hear it, even at full speed
if you have enough airflow in ur pc and u dont OC your cpu, then you can also remove the cpu fan wink.gif

I'm leaning at the hyper simply because is the only one that i found at my local stores... they have noctuas and stuff, but that's too much for me xD

my sister has a Asus Vento TA-882 (mid tower) and the top of the cooler is directly against the side window
but it fits, i can open it case and close it without any effort

I have the HAF922 so it should fit, if the nh-d14 fits that one will surely do. biggrin.gif

Anyway i picked the H212 evo since it was at my local store at just 27€ ...
