From what I've read, IVB should be around 10-20% faster on the CPU side and a LOT faster on the GPU side.

More like 7% clock for clock on the CPU.

HD4000 graphics are up ~60% on HD3000, IIRC.

usually, yes. For example, Intel's max safe voltage rating for the 45nm i7 920 was 1.55v, but the rating for the 32nm 980X was something like 1.4v. I wouldn't be very surprised if IB couldn't safely take more than 1.3v 24/7 (on air that is). But who cares when you're getting 4.6GHz at just 1.1?

Given the design and scalling of nodes in general, I think its gonna do damage at 1.3 or so volts, and to be honest this node may top out rather quickly in terms of fq in a hurry.

Means nothing, if the chip dies or gets a lot of damage at 1.2v or so..And this may be a golden chip for all we know, just like the 8Ghz BD models.
I'm waiting for real results, from the community that are confirmed to be 24/7 stable.

This. Running superpi means nothing. But i certainly hope for 5ghz at low volts.

ya same with me here, lol this 775 I am outdated man
