Intel Corp. said it had shipped five million Intel Core 2 Duo microprocessors to date in just about two months since the introduction, which is significantly ahead of the goal to ship 1 million chips in 10 weeks, as the company expected initially.

“The momentum for this product is really quite, quite good. Demand has been very strong. In fact, Intel has shipped over five million Core 2 Duo processors in the 60 days that the product has now been released,†said Intel Corp.’s chief executive Paul Otellini.

Intel stock is a great buy right now. I got some while it was at $18.00. It is still a good deal.

Yeah, I remember when the rummors were: You won't find a Core 2 Duo probably by the end of the year....they go to the big OEMs first.

Now, look at us, Core 2 Duos everywhere and for a bargain price. Don't mess with Chipzilla, that's is why they got sued, because they can manufacture by the truck loads. I think they better slow down.

Yup, there were out and in several systems 2 weeks after the retail release, and now just a few months later.......C2Ds as far as the eye can see....some members here have several

I bought some of my stock at $20, but most of my shares, unfortunatly, were purchased a while ago at $27.......so I hope the earnings report for this quarter is good, and that Kentsfield next year takes it higher. I'd love to see $50/share prices again
