Rayman: Origins - It's way too easy. The original Rayman made it tough to get past the first freaking world. This Rayman is like cake in comparison.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Just sucks. Not what I was expecting. Nothing like BF2 (I bought it when it first came out)

Civ 4 - Gets old very quickly. Waste of $30

Borderlands - I bought it on sale for $10 and still felt buyer's remorse. That's how terrible that game was.

The rest of them I returned. I couldn't return Bad Company 2 because I bought it for PC. I'm probably going to return Rayman Origins soon. Should have bought Dark Souls...

Remembering some of the games I paid for that I returned because I didn't like them:

Dead Space 2 - Bad design. Boring plot. Ruined the character by making him talk. They try to make the game scary by having stuff pop out at you, but they do it so often that it's predictable after an hour.

LittleBigPlanet 2 - Stupid game. People can be creative with it, but I don't care. There was nothing to keep me around. My little sister (11 at the time) loved it. Guess it's just for kids or something...

TBH I'm surprised so many people bought so many obviously bad games. It's not like bad games are hard to spot either. In the past 3 years, I've bought just 5 games I've regretted, and yet I see some people with these long lists of games... do people like throwing their money away or something?

I guess. Let's be real though: Company of Heroes is one of the best RTS out there. Common man. I liked Civ 4, I just didn't think it was worth the money.

Rage - Initially looked like a mix of borderlands and Fallout 3 to me which sounded epic. Well it was far from it.
MW2 - Game was unplayable after like the 2nd or 3rd month of being out. Bad game was bad. Glitch fest, booster heaven, hackers galore (XBOX360)
Socom: Confrontation - Was probably the most excited ive ever been for a game only to be completely let down. I also bought a PS3 just for this fail game. Considering Socom 2 was one of my favorite all time multiplayer games I was super stoked on Confrontation bringing back classic maps and it being a new console...whelp the game was just awful. Bad mechanics/UI and the lag was easily the worst id ever experienced. I heard the fixed a lot and was playable after about 6 months worth of patches but I sold the game after the first week and had no desire to retry.

Oh yes good old SOCOM forgot about that one... While Confrontation was a disgrace to real SOCOM it still beat SOCOM 4 by a long shot.

I won't go there but SOCOM 4 is the one game that truly makes me angry... and they call that crap "classic mode"... HD remake or no more SOCOM mad.gif

I didn't feel Company of Heroes wasn't worth the money for me. But it is a good RTS. One of the reasons is because i bout a 4 pack of it on accident

Brink, hands down. It actually angers me when I see it in my Steam list. I'm tempted to ask VALVe if they'll just remove it. I don't expect a refund or even a voucher, I'd just appreciate never seeing it again.

Left for dead 2 - scrappy, horrible game, feels like an ancient engine, graphics are woeful.

Stalker series - I just couldn't get into it and everything looks/feels old. (Although I only got the games a year or two ago so no surprises really.)

MW2 - Was okay for the first two weeks till people worked out other ways of killing people than aiming well. More people manipulated high speed movement and dual spam guns and noob launchers.

Not to mention the whole nuke milking etc the game got worse and worse. It was the beggining of the ends for the COD series. how it is still so successful I don't understand.

This is in comparison to a near perfect game in COD MW.

Console - Halo Reach

Biggest failure I think as it changed a highly skilled game into a new age super noob fest armour lock etc are fine examples of what not to do with a FPS.
