Loyal AMD customer Looking for Advice on Water Cooled Ivy Bridge Build

So I know quite a bit about building and over-clocking AMD systems but I've never had any real experience with Intel. I figured since I have the money I might as well go big and get the best of the best.

Yes I know I have a lot of homework to do, if you would like to throw in your 2 cents - Great! If not then just consider this another "Help Me" thread and move on. So the goal here is to put this 22nm bad boy on water. As I do more research I'll start asking more specific questions if I can't find it by googling but for now any general advice would be appreciated such as would it be better to save my money and get a 2700k instead, wait for the next gen IB, etc... About all I know right now is that it is going to be socket 1155 (So many intel sockets! agh) but I just have a general idea of the direction I want to go with this and none of the specifics like what chipset is the best or if current 1155 boards are compatible with IB or not. Some sites say yes others say no....

As I go on, this thread will turn into a build log so it won't just be a boring old "Help Me" thread so I hope you'll check back to see it progress.

Well you can't go wrong by waiting for IB. Its almost guaranteed to overclock higher and will definitely consume less power. If Intel was planning a brand new architecture I would say possibly hold off - but they are just simply implementing a die-shrink. It might cost a little bit more to go with the IB equivalent, however, it goes without saying that performance will match that.

Just my 2 cents: wait for IB. Rest of the water-cooling stuff I will leave to the gurus as I also am curious about this.

Just picked up a 1TB Cavier black for this build and looking at SSD's right now, next I need to find some good RAM. I decided since I'll be waiting for the chip to come out I'll wait until the Z77 mobo's come out. Any advice on what ram to buy that will help me max out the OC with the IB chip? I'll be looking out for good deals.
