Some questions about SRT

Thread Starter
Hey people,

Right now I've got in my system a Seagate 1TB and 500GB. This morning I brought a Patriot Pyro 60GB which my primary reason was to use SRT with the 1TB.
My question is, is that possible to have SRT with the 1TB, as well as the 500GB as like a separate backup drive in the same system?

Thanks biggrin.gif

Yes. You could even have that separate 500GB drive be the boot drive while still using SRT on the SSD and the 1TB if you wanted to. I dunno why you would, but you could.

I wouldnt suggest using SRT of a backup drive. Also, a SSD for the OS alone would be better if you know how to organize your data.

Oh wait... are you asking if you can have all 3 drives in SRT? The way I read it was you want the SSD and the 1TB in SRT and the 500 MB is just a backup without being a part of SRT. That can be done. If you want the 500 MB as part of the SRT I don't think so. But now I'm too far out of my element.

As the previous poster stated, you would probably be better to use the SSD by itself for a boot drive. I don't believe in doing hybrid setups. In my mind it gimps the SSD.
