Hello all

What games you going to buy and play this year?

So far I'm going probably going to get:

Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai
StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm
Mass Effect 3
Maybe GTA V if it comes out
And possibly Far Cry 3 or Borderlands 2 if they're good.

Shogun and ME3 are all I can think of. I do however have a huge backlog atm, so lack of new games isn't much of a problem for me.

im not seeing not ONE person saying diablo 3, something is wrong here....


anyway, if only games released this year will be counted then i suppose it will be

dota 2
diablo 3
starcraft 2 expansion

there is no point in delaying purchase of dota 2 as it will be competitive, there is no point in delaying purchase of the 2 blizzards games because they wont be discounted for like....ever


if old games are also counted then just add good ol' witcher 2 and skyrim, and alice madness returns

The way it sits right now it's almost nothing like D2 except for the overhead view and random drops.

The skills are nothing like D2, they are very dumbed down. All skills are learned based on level, you do not get to pick and choose.

Rune drops have been removed as of the most recent patch. You earn runes for skill enhancements based on level.

Only certain skills can be assigned to the primary and secondary mouse buttons as of the most recent patch. So if you have a favorite skill that is not one of them, you have to use the keyboard for it or remap the binding to an alternate mouse button if you have a gaming mouse (button 3+).

Probably several other things I'm forgetting right now.
