Low PPD high TPF (hugeadv)

Thread Starter
I finished a 6904 with time to spare, then my rig grabbed a 6903. Immediately the TPF was high: 01:48:52 which resulted in low PPD since it exceeded the deadline. Did something change with the hugeadv WUs? Or is my rig having issues?

you might wanna make a post at foldingforum.org i've seen a few guys around the TC get those bad WU's
post #3 of 11
I got a few bad wu's last couple days too. You can tell by checking the amount of steps which is double or more. Just dump it and make sure you delete all the files for that wu.

Within Linux that is the folder called "work"?

ya should be in the same folder as the executable. Delete that and you should be good. I normally delete everything but the fah executable, client.cfg, and the fahlog.txt. However that is probably overboard bc i am paranoid.

Yes you need to delete the "work" folder as well as the "queue.dat". I had the same problem with a couple 6903's. The wu's are bad and the only thing to do is delete them and hope you get a good one.

Delete the Work folder Queue.dat folder Unitinfo.txt and the machinedependent.dat folder. The WU you have is one of the bad ones it should be 250,000 steps not 500,000
