Go with 750D..same panel but with better stand. However, 750D only has displayport...950D has dual-dvi and displayport for 120hz. If you gfx card has displayport..get 750D for sure...if not..you can think about the 950D then. 950D also cost like $100 more.. because it has dual-dvi (not just displayport) and the because the stand looks "cool"...though a lot of people disagree on that point. i don't think 950D is worth it...750D get my vote.

That's disheartening. My card only has 2x DVI and 1x mini HDMI.

TN Panels = No no no no no no no no no no and NO.

I'm sorry but if you have any standard for quality you will stay clear of TN panels.

For gaming you want a low response time to prevent ghosting (manufacturer rating of response times are bull**** so pay no attention to them) and low input lag which is almost never listed on the manufacturer specs but you generally want it to be below 25ms input lag for gaming.

The S23A700D is the same thing as the 950D and the 750D, but with only DVI and a different stand: If you're looking at those monitors, no need to worry about adapters. The 700D is cheaper, too.

I agree with De-Zant..I forgot about the Samsung 700D...get that one!! I don't think the cable you linked would work for the 750D...not sure tbh (maybe it does?)...but 700D is probably the best option for you! Go for it! 27" or 23" - which ever you like. top 120hz glossy monitor for gaming imho. BenQ XL2420 for matted screen.

Nice, thanks for the info about the 700D! Now, if only I could find it somewhere... TD sells it but for 379. Ouch! Was hoping to really hit that 299 sweet spot. But really I can only find about 3 places that even have it to begin with.
