Logitech G9X or G700

Thread Starter
OK,

I have been using a Logitech G7 for over 3 years now and it's finally giving up. I emailed Logitech and they said since it's out of warranty they could not replace it but instead give me a %50 discount at their website on any mouse

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice-pointers/mice

So I narrowed it down to, 2 mice, G9X or G700,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100014346&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&CompareItemList=65|26-104-261^26-104-261-TS%2C26-104-377^26-104-377-TS

Of the 2, these are the price differences of the 2 newegg regular price vs %50 off the Logitech store. Both free shipping.

G9X newegg $67.99 vs Logitech $40.00 shipped.

G700 newegg $79.99 vs Logitech $50.00 shipped

Any advice on this or a better mouse at Logitech, please let me know, Thanks

Michael

since you're used to the G7 i'd say the G700 would be the best. it depends on how much that $10 difference makes for you because both of those mice have the same sensor, and it's very good, but has been known to have LOD problems. i know this from experience with the G500 which has a horrible lift off distance in my own personal tests, but i can't speak for the G700 or G9X if the way they have handled that same sensor is different or not.
