Of course, I bought it from FrozenCPU, it came like that out of the box. EK also put a seal on the box so it has not been opened.

interesting...so the top threads are damaged from manufacturing...but the lower threads aren't (as it would seem in the video as you are able to thread the compression fitting with the longer then threads).

In any case, you are getting a replacement.

That's correct. I think it somehow passed the quality control. You mind, they'd have to check hundreds of blocks a day, no wonder they've missed one.
